STATUS: COMPLETED
In this intervention for the 2 de Mayo Square, located in Lima, the focus is to improve accessibility. The area is well known for music shops and workshops, which provokes a musical inspiration. Among the actions taken, the width of the sidewalks was increased, and streets were made walkable, in order to decrease vehicular traffic. Inclusivity is visible in the program aimed for children, youth and older adults as well as for people with disabilities. The music concept comes to life with bridges added on the second level, shaping a musical route or promenade. The upper level will feature cultural-musical workshops, where all users can be part of an inclusive experience thorugh the senses.
